Power of Social Media
Few years ago, we all were remained isolated from this social media thing. Once it came in the existence , it emerged as a new market or medium for masses to interact. Few took it as a negative and got negative out of it, but some of them took this as a positive initiative for their positive work, and made this tool very useful for them.
Last Year I have created a WhatsApp group called “Rotaract Leaders” . During initial periods it was only the group where Rotaractors of the world are being added by me and chit chat started by the fellow Rotaractors, but after few months this group became very active by the induction few energetic Rotaractors around the world.
Now this group will lead the Grand Rotaract Project , which will be none bigger than Rotary Polio Initiatives. We are planning to have a clean-up drive to make this environment a clean, safe & healthy for we all , who are living in it. Meanwhile I got the partner for this project a Rotaractor from Rotaract Club of Thane Green City Deepika S. Shetty. Now we are 40 clubs around the world on board and still counting. Time will come when our rotary & Rotaract will take it as a Grand Rotaract Project.

Rotaract District Assembly 2015
Nawabshah,
On 25th of July Nawabshah witnessed a historical event of R.I.District 3271. It was unanimously declared as the biggest Rotaract District Assembly of Pakistan by every Rotarian. Rotaractors who were present during the event, witnessed and could not resist themselves from talking about the gracious remarks in their private gatherings and in public announcements on social media during & after event. It was such a great joy to start this year with a great team who organized such a wonderful event. They worked hard day & night and received a great appreciation from every single attendee; they took care of each and every attendee that was due to them.
Rotaract District Assembly & Installation Ceremony was jointly hosted by Rotaract Club of Nawabshah KnightRiders & Rotaract Club of Nawabshah under the leadership of DRR Rtr Arslan Liaquat, DS Rtr Hamadullah Sohu, Rotarians of Rotary Club of Nawabshah. That event attended by over 150 Rotarians, Rotaractors & guest members. I must acknowledge Rotaractors who came from outstations like Bhittai Zone, Ghazi Zone & Jinnah Zone. We also must appreciate attendance of Rotarian Shaikh Parvez from Lahore & his son Rotaractor Haris Parvez they both came all the way from Lahore to attend this event .
We must also acknowledge the work of all ZRRs, ZSs, Presidents, Club Secretaries, Their Club members, & Council Members who came & participated actively in this event.
Program kicked off with Recitation from the Holy Quran, National Anthem & Welcome Address by PDRR Rtr Malik Saeed Tanwar. Then a presenation on Introduction to Rotaract World by DS Rtr Hamadullah Sohu, Followed by video play included Theme description speech by RI President Rtn K.R Ravindran & PDG Rtn Aziz Memon. There after chair of committees shared their plans to the house, followed by High Tea & fellowship time for the attendees. After the break, attendees settled down for the panel discussion on the Role of Presidents & Secretaries of a club moderated by DRC Rtn Syed Tahzeeb kazmi , joined by IPP Rtn Abdullah Ghumro & Co-DRC Rtn Syed Athar Shah. The session was quite a great learning curve for all attendees not only for current presidents but also for future presidents and secretaries of their clubs. Session ended after Q&A.
DRR Rtr Arslan Liaquat presented his plans & speech included many new things for the betterment of Rotaract District 3271 & Rotaract. Guests from Lahore presented a souvenir to DRR, and we reciprocated our cultural heritage and presented them with ajraks. Ajrak ceremony held after the Rotaract District Installation ceremony. Ajraks were presented to every Rotarian who attended this event. Event ended with a great speech by our chief guest of the event DGE Rtn Rao Muhammad Saleem, who acknowledged the work of team of RDA 2015 organizing team, he acknowledged every single Rotaractor who came all the way to Nawabshah. He urged his continuous support to Rotaract on behalf of DG Rtn Jahangir Mughal and He said I am ready to be connected with you all guys at any time, I am available for you all to discuss any matter or project. On note of Thanks he closed the official event.
Attendees moved to Royal Rest House Nawabshah from the Quaid-e-Awam University of engineering Science & Technology Nawabshah, for dinner and musical program. Attendess enjoyed the dinner & musical program and they were unstoppable while dancing on the songs of The Signature Band Hyderabad.
In the end, on Behlaf of Rotaract District 3271, I would like thank everyone who supported us, especially QUEST Nawabshah , Essa Lab, Rotary Club of Nawabshah, Royal Rest House, PC Hotel Nawabshah, Al-Karim Hotel Nawabshah.
